  • Complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected, fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with federal law, provide a good or service requested by you, or reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform a contract between you and us;

You may make such a request twice in a twelve-month period, and we will respond within 45 days of receiving the request. We may need to ask you to provide us with certain credentials to make sure that you are who you claim you are.

Personal information collected by Witz will be used by Witz for the following purposes:

  • Business Uses: to provide you with an enhanced and tailor-made experience when visiting our websites and to provide you with appropriate marketing materials, upon your request,  to set up a payment processing account for your organization; we are required by the payment processing institutions we work with to collect this information, to transmit the details of your transaction to the appropriate Card Association or network (such as Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express) so that they may verify and approve your transaction, to maintain a record of your transactions with us so that we may provide you with more efficient and effective service.
  • Marketing Uses. The information you provide to our websites may also be collected, used, analyzed and/or processed by Witz, or selected third parties on Witz’s behalf, for marketing and other business purposes.
  • Stored Information Uses. Witz stores and retains the information entered on our websites. Stored information is used by Witz and its partners: to support customer interaction with our websites, to deliver customer purchases, and/or to contact visitor again about other Witz services and products.
  • Online Advertising. Some companies that help Witz deliver interactive online advertising, such as banner ads, may collect and use information about Witz’s visitors to help Witz better understand the types of advertising or promotions that are most appealing to Witz’s customers.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions. For the purpose of developing and expanding its business, Witz may share, rent, sell or buy business assets. In such transactions, visitor information is generally one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event Witz is acquired, visitor information will be one of the transferred assets.
  • Agents. Witz employs or engages other companies and individuals to perform business functions on behalf of Witz. These persons are provided with personal identifying information required to perform their functions, but are prohibited by contract from using the information for other purposes. These persons engage in a variety of functions, which include but are not limited to, fulfilling orders, delivering packages, removing repetitive information from visitor lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments and providing customer services.
  • Affiliated Businesses. Witz works closely with affiliated businesses operating website stores, providing services or selling products on each other’s websites. These businesses identify themselves to customers. Visitor information related to a transaction with an affiliated business is shared with that affiliated business.
  • Disclosure to Governmental Authorities. Witz releases personal identifying information when Witz reasonably believes release is appropriate to comply with law, to enforce Witz agreements, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Witz customers. Witz may also release such information in an exchange of information with other companies and/or organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Information from Children:

Our Website is intended for those 18 years of age and older and thus is not structured to attract anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Use of Computer Tracking Technologies.

  • Use of Cookies. Witz and its partners, collect non-identifiable and personal information through the use of various technologies, including “cookies.” A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier that a website can transfer to visitor’s hard drive through visitors’ browser. The cookie is then stored on visitor’s computer as an anonymous tag that identifies the visitor’s computer. Cookies may be sent by Witz or its partner. Visitors to our websites may set their browser to notify them before a cookie is received, giving an opportunity to decide whether to accept the cookie.
