Director of Operations

Chester, NY • Full Time

Job Summary:

Witz Group is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Director of Operations to be responsible for successfully operating the e‑commerce operations of Witz. The Director of Operations will provide leadership and guidance to operations managers and resources and ensure all operational aspects run smoothly and effectively. The ideal candidate has proven e‑commerce operational experience with solid communication and problem‑solving skills and a strong sense of organization.

About Us:

Witz Group is a premier e‑commerce seller for over a decade. We are dedicated to helping bring establish retail-based Health and Beauty brands to new heights in the e‑commerce realm. We formed relationships with globally recognized brands—including Unilever, Shea Moisture, Alaffia, Natural Heaven, and Mad Hippie.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assume all responsibilities and accountabilities for the day‑to‑day e‑commerce operations
  • Oversee warehouse operations, monitor KPIs and optimize to improve overall efficiency
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols, including warehouse inventory management, packaging, shipment, and more
  • Ensure timely operational deliverables within approved budget
  • Monitor operational expenses against approved budget to ensure expenses are within budget and work to optimize expenses to improve profitability
  • Supervise and streamline processes and teams of Amazon, multi‑channel marketplace, and customer service
  • Be responsible for office and building administrations and operations, including employee onboarding and setup, be POC with service provides (IT, etc.), and more
  • Recruit, train, and develop operational staff
  • Maintain constant and open communication with leadership, staff, and vendor to streamline operations and to ensure everyone is on the same page
  • Manage and optimize operations software and systems as well as warehouse automation
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of proven related work experience with e‑commerce operations leadership or similar position
  • Deep operations management and organizational effectiveness knowledge
  • Experience maintaining budget and forecasting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail‑oriented with outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to lead by example and to delegate responsibilities
  • Creative with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under strict deadlines
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and aptitude to learn new applications

Job Summary:

Witz Group is looking to hire a passionate and ambitious Sales Hunter to establish relationships with new partners and secure contracts to achieve revenue goals and targets.

Witz Group is a premier e‑commerce seller for over a decade, partnered with over 200 natural health, food, and beauty brands who trust Witz to grow their presence, manage their operations, and dominate their competition on e‑commerce marketplaces. We formed relationships with globally‑recognized brands, including Unilever, Natural Heaven, Mad Hippie, and more.

The ideal candidate has similar experience and proven success record of securing qualified leads and converting them into active partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Become knowledgeable regarding Witz Group’s services and its target market
  • Prospect for potential partners using various prospecting methods, such as calls, emails, social media outreach, and more
  • Establish relationships with new partners
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to partner signup, including negotiation if applicable
  • Attend shows to network with potential partners and represent the Witz brand
  • Craft and deliver proposals based on a true understanding of partners’ needs
  • Work with internal teams to deliver on partners needs
  • Be the main point of contact for key partners and conduct clients’ site visits as needed to ensure partners’ satisfaction
  • Keep detailed notes on prospect and partner interactions using company’s CRM
  • Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns
  • Ability to deliver speaking engagement presentations is a plus
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience preferably in the e‑commerce space
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting/exceeding annual sales goals and targets
  • Experience in managing sales leads using reputable CRM
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and create a bond and rapport with individuals
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
